Kolkata Knight Riders Court Trouble

Shah Rukh Khan the Bollywood Badshah and the owner of the IPL Kolkata Knight Riders Franchise is facing fresh trouble.

His Red Chillies entertainment and BCCI and the Cricket Association of Bengal have been named in a court case.

The case has been filed by Cricket Lovers of Bengal Forum, a 6000 strong forum that is mainly drawn from the members, associates and partners of the CAB’s 31000 strong member base.

What are they fighting for? They want to attend the IPL matches for free as they insist they are guaranteed that right under the CAB membership rules.

The court is pending in a lower court and will soon be taken up for hearing.

Seven of  IPL Kolkata Knight Riders Cricket Team Matches will be played in Eden Gardens and if all the members insist on free tickets then a substantial chunk of revenue that Red Chillies will be making from gate sales will have to written off. Can SRK afford to do that?
